Benitez denied bluntly that he is going after Owen. Maybe the yanks have agreed more money? If not, they better allow LFC to be taken over before January la.

ok if he doesn't want Owen but pls bring another striker of note or a proper right winger. We lacked width. Chelsea have Bosingwa and Cole, Man U have Ronaldo and Evra, Arsenal have Sagna and Clichy and we have Kuyt a central striker playing wide right with Pennant rotting in the reserves.
This is the real problem. The squad is not balance. Kuyt and Benayoun will go inside and created mess instead of goalscoring opportunities. The opponents not stretched, cramping themselves in the box thus lack of goals.
